Our property, the Shinjuku Garden House, has been registered as an accommodation to protect the elderly from disease infection.
In light of the novel COVID-19 outbreak, we have been providing fixed financial support to accommodation facilities in Tokyo that are designed for
elderly people to temporarily isolate from their families and avoid becoming infected.
Our Shinjuku Garden House will participate in this project.
Shinjuku Garden House has spacious rooms and its first floor has a wheelchair-friendly design as well.
The building allows pets to live with residents and also consists of a garden; thus, it is a great, cozy environment for elderly people to relax.
User requirements
Any individual wishing to use the project facilities must meet both of the following requirements, ① and ②, at the time of accommodation.
① An elderly person aged 65 or above and living in Tokyo.
② Has someone they are living with.*
- At least one of the people living with the individual must be a non-user of the project's facilities.
If the individual needs a caregiver to live with them, one additional person of any age can also use the facility, provided that they also live in Tokyo.
Period available for usage
From February 21st, 2022 (Monday) (checkin date) to March 31st, 2022 (Thursday) (checkout date).
Accommodation plan
・ The accommodation plan is for an individual to stay in one of the facilities in Tokyo for 6 consecutive days (6 nights and 7 days).
・ If you cancel your stay during the 6-day period, you must pay a cancellation fee based on the regular staying costs of each accommodation facility.
・ There can be no more than 4 people that use the facility together as a group, including caregiver attendants.
・ During your stay, you should not exit the accommodation facility for reasons other than eating or shopping for daily necessities.
Please cooperate in the daily check of body temperature as well.
・ For those participating in this program, we offer a special price of 15,000 yen per night for unit 1 (1st floor) and 10,000 yen per night for unit 2 (2nd floor).
In addition to the special price, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will provide a subsidy of 5,000 yen per day.
Pets can stay in the facility as well. (Will cost an additional fee unless the user of the facility is one adult.)
