We are proud to announce that Shinjuku Garden House has been officially registered as an accommodation facility dedicated to protecting the elderly from disease infection.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has launched a program providing financial support to accommodation facilities that offer elderly individuals a temporary, safe space to isolate from their families and reduce their risk of infection. Shinjuku Garden House is honored to participate in this initiative.

Shinjuku Garden House is designed with the comfort and well-being of elderly residents in mind.

- Wheelchair-Friendly Design: The first floor is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: Residents can bring their pets, adding a sense of warmth and companionship during their stay.
- Relaxing Garden: The property features a tranquil garden, providing a cozy and peaceful environment for residents to unwind.
Eligibility Requirements
To use the facility under this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age and Residency: Be 65 years or older and residing in Tokyo.
- Living Situation: ・Have at least one family member or housemate who is not using the program’s facilities. ・If the user requires caregiving, one caregiver of any age may also stay, provided they reside in Tokyo.
Program Duration
- Start Date: February 21, 2022 (Monday)
- End Date: March 31, 2022 (Thursday)
Accommodation Details
Stay Plan:
- Each booking includes a 6-day, 6-night consecutive stay at a participating facility in Tokyo.
- Cancellation during the 6-day period will incur a fee based on the regular accommodation costs.
Group Size:
- A maximum of 4 people, including caregivers, can stay together as a group.
Usage Restrictions:
- Residents are requested not to leave the facility except for essential activities like purchasing food or daily necessities.
- Daily body temperature checks are required for all users.
Pricing:
- Unit 1 (1st floor): ¥15,000 per night
- Unit 2 (2nd floor): ¥10,000 per night
A ¥5,000 daily subsidy will be provided by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Pets are welcome, though an additional fee applies unless the user is a single adult.
