We are pleased to announce that the support project for accommodation facilities protecting elderly individuals from disease infection has been extended once more.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have been providing financial support to accommodation facilities in Tokyo designed to offer elderly individuals a safe space to temporarily isolate from their families and reduce their risk of infection.
Our facility, Shinjuku Garden House, will continue to participate in this important initiative during the extended project period.
Project Timeline
- Before Extension: February 21, 2022 (Monday) to September 30, 2022 (Friday) (checkout date).
- After Extension: February 21, 2022 (Monday) to December 31, 2022 (Saturday) (checkout date).
Eligibility Requirements
To use the facility under this project, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Age and Residency: ・Be aged 65 or above and residing in Tokyo.
- Living Situation: ・Have at least one family member or housemate who is not using the facility.
Note: If the user requires caregiving, one additional caregiver of any age may also stay, provided they reside in Tokyo.
Accommodation Details
- Stay Plan: ・Each reservation includes 6 consecutive days (6 nights and 7 days) at the facility. ・Users are requested not to leave the facility except for essential activities such as grocery shopping or dining.
- Pricing: ・Unit 1 (1st floor): ¥15,000 per night ・Unit 2 (2nd floor): ¥10,000 per night ・Pets are allowed (an additional fee applies unless the user is a single adult).
